Our original need is to be one with God, but what does that really mean? At a time in history when God is specifying Her Needs, it is important that people understand need itself. We do not have much of a record of anyone expressing what God’s Needs are. We can default to logic, saying that if God created humanity as She Herself is, or as He Himself is, then certainly since people as children of God have needs, they are enough like God to specify what needs God has.
If women have needs, very practical needs, and they as God’s daughters are like God, doesn’t it stand to reason that God in the feminine, too, has needs, very practical needs? Any religious community should protect children, indeed, the entire creation should do so, for to do so is to protect God. Why, then, are all aspects of pregnancy not part of faith, or faith communities, who found it easier to proclaim life in death, and move hearts, in salvation and in the very blood of Jesus? These developments in history don’t go back to the original need of God, who wanted to “Express” Her needs.
My Tormented Feminine Self has had to Figure Out how to be strong, for women, but that doesn't mean I didn't have needs. If we want to know, we have to have people live with God, and those people have to be willing to ask critical questions of God, of Her, and even of Him. Those questions have to ask, "In the Feminine, how would God re-act to that?" With such basic questions, humanity can come to understand all that God is. Humanity can begin to address the question of Oneness with God. Then, faith can begin to look as it should, a shared understanding of the love and heart of God, if not the work of God, not omitting gender or gender realities. Suddenly, gender becomes a whole lot more important, important in faith, synod or not.
I am looking for the sort of people who live with Me. Soothe My Mother's Heartache, and captivate My Heart. Understand that it was not only Father God who carried human history, but I did My Fair Share, even after I was locked out of places of worship that were set up for Me, set up for humanity, and set up for the Creation. So, what do you think, “Does God have Needs?” Of course, I do, but what is our original need? It is to know each other. I pledge to keep working until you know Me. Can you pledge the same? Can you offer a pledge which balances masculine and feminine commitment? Recognize a need of God, to receive, to be trusted, and to be loved. The essence of My piece today is to be understood.
