As a mother, if you were ridiculed in your family, how did you feel? Did you ever tell your husband about this, how you felt less than respected, loved, appreciated, and how the ridicule was not the worst of it? Did it dampen your spirit and make you feel alone? God must have felt that. Okay, so we know women are like God. When do we start talking about God's feelings, or is God too great to have any feelings?
Human history has treated God as if She were no mother, not even a beggar woman with 16 children. No woman was considered qualified to represent God. Even the best of women only fell into the category of sage, saint, or esteemed person. Why? When in human history has the femininity of God prevailed? From the point of view of a woman, how can she be successful if the children, hers, his and theirs, leave Her out, saying: “I give all credit to my Father”? How can that be a true standard, a respectable thing, or a wonderful thing if they knew their Mother?
